Tips for beginners

First come and watch a class, that way you will have a good understanding of what's involved, before attending the basic classes.
At your first few following classes its fine to wear loose comfortable clothes, track pants and T-shirt.
Once students are confident and have joined the Association, they are required to wear a uniform/ Gi.

Enjoy training, it does take a little time to understand the basics, don’t feel you may be holding other students back from their training, everyone has been a beginner and know how it feels.

Both classes cater for beginners and advanced students. Both classes contain both Taijutsu (Hand Techniques), Bokken (Wooden Sword) and Jo (Stick) training.

Aikido membership is required for insurances purposes.
